Food Order Hub ("we", "us", "our") operates the website foodorderhub.com and the digital ordering platform for restaurants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the information of users ("you", "your") of our service and of the end customers of partner restaurants.

2. Data We Collect

Data provided directly:

• Partner Restaurants: Name, email address, phone number, store information during registration for the 30-day free trial and activation of the free website.
• End Customers (via restaurant): Name, phone number, email address, orders placed via QR code or touchscreen, dietary preferences, order history.
• Payment Data: Managed through third-party payment services compliant with PCI-DSS. We do not store full credit card data on our server.
• Billing Data: We do not collect VAT numbers, therefore we do not issue an official invoice. Only a provisional invoice is generated for the sole purpose of calculating the total order amount. We guarantee simple and hassle-free order management.

Data collected automatically: IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, access times, usage data of the touchscreen or smartphone ordering system.

3. Purpose of Processing

• Provide, operate, and maintain our Digital Ordering System.
• Activate and manage the free website forever included in the offer.
• Process orders and payments, and send confirmations via email (e.g., "In Preparation" or "Ready" status).
• Provide access to the Full Administration Panel and the Live Monitor Dashboard.
• Communicate offers (e.g., €9.90/month plan after trial) and provide support.
• Generate Advanced Analytics and reports for partner restaurants.

4. Legal Basis and Data Sharing

Processing is based on contract performance (service provision), consent (for marketing), and legitimate interest (service improvement). End customer data is shared with the specific partner restaurant to fulfill the order. We use third-party providers for hosting, payments (e.g., Stripe), and email. We do not sell data to third parties for their marketing.

5. Data Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out or as required by law. We implement technical and organizational security measures (SSL, daily backups) to protect data. Partner restaurants are responsible for compliant management of their end customers' data.

6. Data Subject Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing, object, and request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@foodorderhub.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority).
